The development of the new trading platform Metatrader 5 started two years ago. Now the work is almost complete and the platform is expected to be released on the fall. Beta testing of the new client and MQL5 development starts this summer.

The trading system of the new terminal was developed from scratch, and compared to MT4 trading possibilities are much wider. For instance MetaTrader 5 trading terminal will allow you to execute trading operations with Forex while working options, futures and stocks. 

Auto trades in MT5

MQL5 will be responsible for the development and use of EA, custom indicators and scripts in the new trading platform. It includes MetaEditor 5, MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester and MetaQuotes Language 5 (MQL5).

MQL5 programming language allows higher execution speed, being 4-20 faster compared with MQL4. This allows the use of more complex Expert Advisor and therefore more precise forecast.

Forex traders are awaiting the release of the new platform, projected to happen fall 2009.
