New Zealand Dollar in its highest trend against U.S. Dollar in one year

The New Zealand dollar rose at its highest price in 13 months against the U.S. dollar, after data showed a surprising 0.1 percent growth in the economy in the second quarter of this year. These statistics are coherent with the Bernanke`s announcement about a possible end to world recession.

In FX accounts, the New Zealand dollar rose at $0.7264, its highest level since August of this year. The Canadian dollar finished higher against the U.S. currency on Tuesday, as always, supported by commodity prices and the investor’s improvement of their economic perception about consumer data; The Loonie closed at C$1.0691 against the U.S. dollar.

Continuing with the commercial discrepancy we mentioned before, U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese President Hu Jintao did not discuss the role of the dollar as the unique global reserve currency when they met on Tuesday in the meeting of the United Nations.
